New technology has already helped catch pedophiles in Europe

LOS ANGELES, May 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nexicon (Pink Sheets: NXCO), a
developer of next generation digital media protection and intelligence
solutions, announced today that it has partnered with Univer-$ale to
co-develop and market Nexicon's MARC(TM) technology platform that tracks and
monetizes illegal uploads and downloads on the Internet.

Nexicon and Univer-$ale co-developed DigitalRanger-Law Enforcement
specifically for law enforcement agencies and international clients. Using
Nexicon's MARC platform, it was developed through a pilot program with French
law enforcement authorities, the Gendarmerie Nationale, in an under-cover
investigation to catch pedophiles exchanging child pornography and has already
facilitated in the arrest of offenders.

"Until now, cyber criminals have been able to find ways to circumvent the laws
and continue their illegal activities online," said Bertrand (Burt) Marchioro,
founder and CEO of Univer-$ale and former detective with the Gendarmerie
Nationale. "Now with Nexicon's technology, we can provide cyber detectives
all the information and evidence they need to catch these offenders and bring
the cases to court."

Univer-$ale represents Nexicon's line of content protection and digital rights
management solutions to European and Middle Eastern markets, including the
motion picture industry, software and electronic games, ISPs, financial
services, the publishing industry and more. The company helps media-owning
clients increase profitability by recovering revenues lost to online piracy,
while helping both government and private organizations secure and gather
network information. The company's product suite enables clients in both the
private and public sectors, around the world, to increase revenues, reduce
costs, reduce risk, and gain valuable insight.

For government clients, Nexicon's MARC technology acts like a double-edged
sword, capable of monitoring Internet traffic for anti-crime and
anti-terrorism purposes, while at the same time securing governments' own
critical networks and ensuring regulatory compliance. By monitoring the
public Internet, the product provides agents the ability to view illegal
Internet traffic behavior of regular Internet users 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. In one day alone, MARC can scan up to 19.6 billion file transmissions,
all viewable through DigitalRanger. DigitalRanger acts as a "command center"
to highlight real-time security breaches of government networks and help
government agencies ensure their data is protected.

"Nexicon is revolutionizing the way consumers, corporations and governments
interact in the digital world," said Sam Glines, president and COO of Nexicon.
"In addition to helping government organizations, we help media-owning
clients change their paradigm and implement creative solutions to mitigate the
losses caused by digital piracy."

"This relationship with Univer-$ale shows the strong ability for our MARC
platform to diversify our offerings and target markets, and this is only the
beginning," added Tommy Stiansen, chief technology officer of Nexicon. "We
will also soon be launching a retail product that will fill a void in the
marketplace and further showcase the strength of our technology."
