SEATTLE--(Business Wire)-- The Oberto Sausage Company today announced new partnerships with several industry leading sales agencies to represent Oberto`s full line of meat snack products. As part of its new direct sales and distribution strategy, Oberto has retained the following companies to manage sales in the U.S. and Canada: CROSSMARK for the U.S. grocery, convenience and gas, drug and mass merchant channels; S&K Sales Company for the U.S. military channel worldwide; and Advantage CKN for the Canadian market. Earlier this week, Frito-Lay North America and the Oberto Sausage Co. announced that they have agreed to end their partnership for the distribution and sales of Oh Boy! Oberto brand meat snack products in the United States and Canada. Under terms of the joint decision, Frito-Lay will sell and distribute "Oh Boy! Oberto" meat snacks until Aug. 15, 2009, at which time Oberto Sausage Co. will transition to a direct sales and distribution model.
