"Great deal of work" for Russia in WTO bid: USTR

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk plans to meet counterparts from Russia and other key nations next week to discuss how Russia can achieve its bid to join the World Trade Organization, a spokeswoman for Kirk said on Friday.
"A great deal of work remains, particularly by the Russian Federation, in order to take the accession process forward to the finish line," said Nefeterius McPherson.
