TABLE-Reuters/U Mich May final sentiment index 68.7
May 29 (Reuters) - The Reuters/University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers' final May consumer sentiment index rose to 68.7 from April's final reading of 65.1 according to a report released on Friday.
Economists in a Reuters survey expected a slightly lower final May reading of 68.0.
