NEW YORK May 31 (Reuters) - JSA Research analyst Rick Whittington put sell recommendations on a handful of defense stocks saying that further stock declines could be ahead as the military cuts spending, according to Barron's.

Among companies that Whittington slapped sell recommendations on are L-3 Communications Holdings (LLL.N), Lockheed Martin (LMT.N), Northrop Grumman (NOC.N) and Raytheon (RTN.N), Barron's reported.
