CAMDEN, N.J.--(Business Wire)--
Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) announced today that its Board of Directors has
elected William Perez, former Chief Executive Officer of Wm. Wrigley Jr.

industry. Most recently he served as President and CEO of Wrigley, the world`s
leading maker of chewing and bubble gum. Perez was also President and CEO of
Nike, Inc. from 2004 to 2006.

Perez began his career in 1970 at S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., where he held
numerous roles, including President and Chief Operating Officer. During his

In the course of his career, Perez has proven adept at leading organizations
with numerous brands and at expanding global businesses.

"Bill`s long and varied experience with leading global consumer businesses will
be invaluable to our Board," said Campbell Chairman Harvey Golub. "We are
