Carolina Pad Announces Design Contest to Celebrate the Launch of Studio C Brand

Winning Design May Be Featured on a Future Carolina Pad Notebook

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Carolina Pad (www.carolinapad.com),

today announced a design challenge to celebrate the launch of its new fashion
brand Studio C(TM). Contestants are asked to design up to four notebook
covers for a chance to win a cash prize, Carolina Pad products and the
potential to be featured in a future Studio C collection.

The Studio C Design Challenge, which is open to designers in the United
States, begins today, Monday, June 1 and ends Wednesday, July 15. Twelve
finalists (three in each design challenge category) will each receive a cash
prize and Carolina Pad products. The finalists' designs will be posted at
www.carolinapad.com for online voting in late July. The grand prize winner
will receive an additional cash prize and Carolina Pad products.

Designers are asked to submit notebook covers that appeal to specific consumer
segments. Each design challenge defines a different consumer, allowing
participants to choose the challenge that best suits their talents. All
entries will be considered for purchase by Carolina Pad and could possibly
become part of the Studio C design portfolio.
