Ideal for Rapid Design of Embedded DSP Applications
SAN DIEGO--(Business Wire)--
CSP Inc. (NASDAQ: CSPI) MultiComputer Division, a leading supplier of rugged
embedded clusters, today announced its new FastCluster FPGA Development Platform
at the Military & Aerospace Electronics Forum. The development platform includes
a Virtex-5 FPGA XMC development board, a Board Support Package, and the CoreFire
Design Suite on a Window based PC providing all the components needed to develop
and debug computational intensive DSP applications.

"The FastCluster FPGA Development Platform integrates Annapolis Micro System`s
development tools and DSP libraries with FastCluster FPGA XMC modules. The GUI
and dataflow model offer the hardware abstraction required to accelerate the
programming of the 1000`s of Xilinx DSP48E slices available on the FastCluster
platform," said Bernard Pelon, Director of Product Research.

The introduction of this robust development platform delivers an efficient
solution for engineers to start prototyping their FPGA applications targeted for
deployment on the FastCluster XL-Gate architecture. Leveraging the Virtex-5 FPGA
technology the XL-Gate is a reconfigurable payload ideally suited for radar,
sonar, and surveillance signal processing.
