Arthur H. Rubenstein and G. Alexander Fleming to Provide Strategic Direction for
Continued Growth
CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.--(Business Wire)--
Diasome Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a clinical stage diabetes therapeutics company,
today announced the addition of Arthur H. Rubenstein, MBBCh, and G. Alexander
(Zan) Fleming, MD, to the company`s Board of Directors. 

"Arthur currently chairs our Scientific Advisory Board and has been closely
associated with the development of HDV-Insulin for years," says Len Rosenberg,

Arthur H. Rubenstein, MBBCh, currently serves as the Executive Vice President of
the University of Pennsylvania for the Health System and the Dean of the
University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He has previously served as the
Dean and CEO of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, and as the
Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of Chicago. Dr.
Rubenstein is an accomplished physician, diabetes researcher and academic
leader, and author of more than 350 publications. 

G. Alexander Fleming, MD, is President and CEO of Kinexum and co-founder and
Chairman of Exsulin Corporation. Board certified in internal medicine and
endocrinology and metabolism, he completed his medical training and was a
researcher at Emory University, Vanderbilt University and National Institutes of
Health. Dr. Fleming was a Senior Medical Officer at FDA`s Division of Metabolic
and Endocrine Drug Products where he was responsible for the approval of many of
the current diabetes treatments on the market today.
