BELLEVUE, WA and WINSTON-SALEM, NC, Jun 01 (MARKET
WIRE) --
Today, UC4 Software, a leading global provider of workload automation,
job scheduling and IT process optimization solutions, announces Inmar,
Stratapult Technology Solutions (Inmar) has selected its Workload
Automation Suite. Inmar provides reverse logistics, supply-chain, and
promotion logistic services which leverage custom technology solutions.
Inmar selected UC4 for its dynamic job scheduler that can centralize
process management across all applications and architectures, and had the
capabilities to meet the needs of back-office and web-based applications
delivered in a real-time "software as a service" solution.

"We evaluated a number of vendors for workload automation solutions and
the decision came down to UC4 and another large IT vendor. We selected UC4
because it clearly was the best solution to integrate with our custom
homegrown .NET, UNIX, and iSeries OS/400 applications; and its scalable,
highly-available, platform-agnostic real-time architecture gives us better
agility as we grow into the future," said Doug Bordner, Vice-President of
Technology for Inmar. "We envision that one day all of our jobs will run
distributed, yet be controlled from a single, central platform, so
processing will be both faster and more consistent for our clients, while
allowing our support, operations, and data center staff to be more focused
and effective in managing business exceptions to our client's
satisfaction."

"By centralizing Inmar's processing, UC4 made a complex environment more
manageable and efficient for their organization and seamless for their end
users," said KEN JACKSON, president of the Americas, UC4 Software. "We are
pleased to demonstrate that UC4's flexible workload automation solution
can accommodate the needs of .NET and web-based customers."

Inmar Stratapult Technology Solutions is currently implementing UC4's
Workload Automation Suite to automate processing including handling
returned goods and recalls, for reverse logistics clients within consumer
goods, healthcare, electronics, and other industries. UC4's scalable
solution will allow Inmar to extend their workload automation platform to
more applications and clients in the future.
