BOSTON, MA, Jun 01 (MARKET WIRE) --
uTest, the world's largest software testing marketplace, was named a
Finalist in the "Best New Company of the Year" category in The 2009
American Business Awards(SM). More than 2,600 entries from companies of
all sizes, both public and private, and in virtually every industry were
submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories.

Since its launch in August 2008, uTest has built a community of 17,000
professional testers from 152 countries around the world. In less than a
year, the company has won more than 120 new customers, expanded into
gaming and mobile app verticals, added to its executive team and raised
$5.2 million in a B round of funding.

"Despite very tough economic conditions, many organizations and
individuals continue to perform well," said Michael Gallagher, founder
and president of The Stevie Awards. "The results of the 2009 ABAs thus
far are a testament to the resilience, creativity, and hard work of
American organizations, executives, and workers."

"The software industry has changed dramatically in the past 12 months, but
uTest has been able to help its customers do more with less and thrive in
this environment," said uTest VP of Marketing, Matt Johnston. "uTest's
crowdsourced testing services are being adopted at an even faster rate
than we expected, and we are honored to be selected as a finalist for
'Best New Company of the Year.'"

Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday,
June 22 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Six-hundred
executives from across the U.S. are expected to attend. The ceremonies
will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network
and hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network.
