WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)--
Rep. Leonard Boswell (D-Iowa), Rep. John Shimkus (R-Ill.) and the Corn Farmers
Coalition will brief congressional staff and reporters at the Capitol June 9 on
several important issues affecting America`s largest crop, including how EPA may
have miscalculated the environmental impact of growing corn to make ethanol and
how new farm practices are contributing to clean water.

The Corn Farmers Coalition - an alliance of the National Corn Growers Assn. and
10 state corn associations - educates Washington policy-makers on how farmers
grow more corn every year with fewer resources and less environmental impact.
