Chevron Completes Sale of Marketing Business in Kenya

SAN RAMON, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) today announced that its subsidiary, Chevron
Africa Holdings Ltd., has completed the sale of Chevron Kenya Ltd. to Total
Outré Mer. Chevron announced the initial sales agreement in 2008. 

Chevron Kenya Ltd.`s assets include service stations, fuel depots, aviation
operations, a lubricants plant and warehouses, and liquefied petroleum gas
storage and distribution facilities. 

The sale is consistent with Chevron`s ongoing effort to concentrate downstream
resources and capital on strategic global markets and assets.
