18 states choose raspberry as top tea, but Georgians remain loyal to state
fruit

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Georgia's love affair with all
things peach is well documented and unmatched. But when Turkey Hill Dairy
first introduced its line of iced teas in Georgia last year, they thought even
the state's passion for peach couldn't knock the company's Raspberry Tea from
its position as the top selling flavor in every southern state where Turkey
Hill teas are sold. They soon found that they don't call it the Peach State
for nothing.

After topping the sales charts in 12 new states, Turkey Hill's Raspberry Tea
has slipped to number two in Georgia, as the company's Peach Tea has finally
found a home where it can claim the number one spot.

"When my family started making teas, we picked local flavors that our
neighbors here in Lancaster County would like best," said Turkey Hill
President Quintin Frey. "Now that we can call folks in Georgia our neighbors,
I'm thrilled that our Peach Tea meets their high standards. After all, no one
knows peaches like they do!"

In 2008, the Lancaster County, Pa.-based dairy began selling its
"Cold-Fashioned" iced teas - the number one selling refrigerated iced tea in
the nation - in more than 350 Kroger stores throughout the southern United
States. Rounding out Georgia's top five flavors, behind Peach Tea and
Raspberry Tea, are Regular Iced Tea, Green Tea and Diet Green Tea Mango.

Located in the rich farming country of Lancaster County, Pa., Turkey Hill
Dairy produces the fourth largest-selling premium ice cream brand and the
number-one refrigerated iced tea brand in the nation. The third-generation,
family-run dairy sells its products in a market that extends along the East
Coast and west to the Rockies. For more information about Turkey Hill, visit
