One-Way Discounts, No Drop Charges and Unlimited Mileage
ST. LOUIS--(Business Wire)--
Alamo Rent A Car`s Florida "Drive-Out" program, which is available through July
18, continues to offer savvy travelers low one-way rates, no drop charges and
unlimited mileage.

Under the program, Alamo customers traveling from select cities in Florida can
rent cars for as little as $10 per day for economy through mid-size cars or $12
per day for full-size cars - as long as the vehicles are dropped off at
participating locations in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina,
Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama.

In addition, special one-way rates as low as $17 per day are available for
vehicles returned to participating locations in many other states, including:
Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts,
Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, New
Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island,
Texas and Virginia.

"Thousands of customers participated in this program during April and May, and
we anticipate many more will continue to do so through next month," said Rob
Hibbard, Vice President for Alamo Rent A Car. "Many are driving from Florida
back to their homes in the North, while others are simply taking advantage of
our promotion to kick-start the summer travel season economically. Either way,
our `Drive-Out` program is mutually beneficial by getting customers to their
destinations while simultaneously helping us reallocate our fleet."

Cost-conscious Alamo customers also are able to take advantage of the company`s
consumer-friendly refueling policy (at all corporate-owned locations and
participating franchises). Under Alamo`s policy, the per-gallon refueling charge
is based on the local-market price of self-serve gasoline, plus a mark-up not to
exceed 50 percent of the fuel cost. This means Alamo customers pay only about $3
per gallon when they bring a car back to the airport without a full tank of gas
(depending on market pricing) - or approximately 65 percent less than what some
other major car rental brands charge.

The Alamo "Drive-Out" program requires a 24-hour advance reservation and allows
a maximum 21-day rental. To reserve this offer, Alamo Rent A Car customers can
book online at www.alamo.com or call 800-GO-ALAMO.
