New Pricing Structure Breaks the Mold on Pricing Models for Hybrid Backup

today announced a new pricing structure for its Barracuda Backup Service, which
now features five times the amount of storage for the same entry-level price.
The Barracuda Backup Service offsite storage plans are now available to
customers for only $50 per month for every 100 GB of offsite backup storage with
no overage fees, no agent fees and no per server fees.

Barracuda Networks has done away with tiered pricing for backup storage and
reduced the overall cost by more than 70 percent in many cases for its monthly
storage charges. This new pricing helps customers achieve considerable ROI over
more expensive hybrid, online or tape-only backup solutions. In addition,
Barracuda Networks will continue to provide software agents, including agents
for Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, and Windows system state at no
additional cost to customers, unlike competing online backup services, which
often charge per agent and per server. Customers switching to the Barracuda
Backup Service can potentially save thousands of dollars on typical backup
costs.

Barracuda Backup Service pricing includes a one-time hardware fee for the
Barracuda Backup Server and a monthly fee for offsite storage. Barracuda Backup
Server pricing starts at $999 depending on model and offsite storage plans are
priced at $50 for per month for every 100 GB of offsite backup storage with no
