Seyfarth Shaw Welcomes Esteban A. Ferrer

announced that Esteban A. ("Steve") Ferrer has joined the firm`s New York office
as a partner inthe Corporate & Finance Practice Group. He was previously a
partner at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP.

In addition to his considerable talents as a practicing attorney, Ferrer will
make a significant contribution to the firm in leading the national Corporate &
Finance Practice Group. Ferrer, who previously led his former firm`s Corporate
Department, is a transactional attorney whose practice is focused on: general
corporate, corporate governance, corporate finance, federal securities law and
mergers and acquisitions (including strategic corporate alliances). His practice
includes a special focus in the healthcare and biotechnology fields. Fluent in
Spanish, Ferrer has experience in a variety of cross-border transactions in
Latin America.
