Norfolk Southern Earns Automotive Logistics Excellence Award

NORFOLK, Va.June 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- UPS Autogistics, in conjunction
with Ford Motor Company, has presented Norfolk Southern the 2008 Carrier of
the Year Award for overall logistics excellence among all North American rail
carriers for the transportation of Ford vehicles.

The award recognizes superior performance in on-time delivery, quality and
damage-free handling, and total customer service.  Norfolk Southern
transported more than 1.4 million Ford vehicles in 2008. 

Walter Lowe, Ford's manager for North America vehicle logistics, said, "Ford
