Support for Law Enforcement

Part of Obama Administration tour to discuss immediate recovery efforts for
auto communities

WASHINGTON, June 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As part of a team traveling
across the Midwest to discuss federal recovery efforts, Associate Attorney
General Tom Perrelli and Dr. Ed Montgomery, the President's Director of Auto
Recovery and Workers, will join Detroit Mayor Dave Bing and Chief of Police
James Barren to discuss public safety and federal recovery efforts for law
enforcement in auto communities onTUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. CT/5:00
P.M. ET.  Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan Terrence
Berg and local law enforcement will also attend.  A press availability will be
held following a closed door meeting.
