LONDON, June 1 (Reuters) - British computer services group Phoenix IT (PHIT.L) reported a 11 percent rise in full-year adjusted pretax profit, beating analyst expectations, and said it remained positive about its outlook for the current year.

The group, which provides systems management, hosting and business continuity services, on Monday posted pretax profit before exceptionals of 28.3 million pounds ($45.4 million) on revenue of 253.2 million pounds, up 9.7 percent.

Analysts were expecting revenue of 249.2 million pounds and pretax profit of 26.8 million pounds for the year to end-March, according to a consensus compiled by Reuters.

The company said its financial performance was solid despite a difficult economic backdrop, and it continued to have good forward visibility from its order book.

"In spite of the continuing macroeconomic uncertainties, we remain positive about the outlook for the current year and beyond," the company said in a statement.

It proposed a final dividend of 4.2 pence a share, giving a total payout for the year of 6.3 pence, up 15 percent.
