Kidnapped Pakistani students recovered - army

ISLAMABAD, June 2 (Reuters) - Scores of kidnapped Pakistani students and staff of a military-run college abducted by Taliban militants in the northwest of the country were recovered on Tuesday, a military spokesman said.

"All the cadets except one have been recovered in an army operation this morning at 5 a.m. (2300 GMT)," said military spokesman Major-General Athar Abbas. (Reporting by Sheree Sardar; Editing by Robert Birsel and Sanjeev Miglani)
