MOSCOW, June 8 (Reuters) - The collapse in car sales on the
Russian market failed to find a bottom in May, plunging 58
percent year on year compared to 53 percent in April, figures
compiled by the Association of European Businesses showed.
In the year to date, sales of new cars have dropped 47
percent, the AEB said in a statement on Monday, showing that the
unavailability of car loans and weak consumer confidence are
still depressing demand.
