OSLO, June 9 (Reuters) - U.S. oil producer ConocoPhillips (COP.N) said on Tuesday that it was not yet clear when it will restart one of its Ekofisk field platforms in the Norwegian North Sea after it was hit by a service vessel on Monday.

A service vessel lost engine power and hit a water injection platform at Ekofisk, forcing ConocoPhillips to shut production of about 23,000 barrels per day -- or less than 10 percent of the field's normal production of about 330,000 barrels per day.

"We haven't set any (restart) timing yet," a ConocoPhillips Norway spokesman said. "We first need to find out the scale of the damage and figure out how to fix it."

ConocoPhillips said teams would investigate the damages to the platform's infrastructure on Tuesday.
