NEW DELHI, June 10 (Reuters) - Comviva, a company majority owned by the parent of Bharti Airtel (BRTI.BO), will manage value-added services for the leading Indian mobile operator for three years, the companies said in a statement on Wednesday.

Comviva, formerly Bharti Telesoft, had last year signed a deal with South Africa's MTN (MTNJ.J) to provide mobile value-added services to MTN customers in 21 markets.

Bharti and MTN are in exclusive merger talks to create a major emerging markets telecoms group. [ID:nLR511040] (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy)
