SEATTLE, June 10, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GeoBio Energy, Inc. (Pink
Sheets:GBOE), d/b/a Plastics Conversion Technologies, Inc. (PCT "Company"), a
Colorado-based plastics cleaning, separation, and recycling company, announces
its founder, director and COO, Gary De Laurentiis, joined the newly formed
Plastics Recycle Council, a trade committee reporting to the Board of Directors
of The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. (ISRI).

A key trade association for the recycling industry, ISRI assists members in
navigating various business, legal, environmental, and government challenges
they face as participants in one of the nation's (and the world's) most rapidly
growing fields. Volatile commodities and energy prices have made the "recycling
industry" an increasingly regulated and complex business. These issues have made
recycling and recycled materials a new focus of potential supply for
manufacturers of everything from bottles to car parts to appliances. The rapid
and increasing impact of environmental challenges are particularly acute for the
recycling businesses that are ISRI members.

With over twenty-five years in the plastics and recycling industries, Mr. De
Laurentiis brings a level of expertise that will allow ISRI to include the most
current and relevant information and awareness of opportunities for, with, and
about plastics and recycling to its membership. Stated Mr. De Laurentiis: "I'm
honored to have been asked to join and participate in this new group. I look
forward to helping raise the level of understanding of plastics and the plastics
industry among all the ISRI members, and to increasing the use and awareness of
recycled plastics in many manufacturing fields."

About PCT

automotive shredder locations nationwide. Operating in conjunction with large
national metal recycling partners (see "Strategic Partners"), the company, using
a patent-pending process developed by EnviroPlastics, will produce recycled
commercial grade plastics ready to be re-introduced into commerce. Additionally,
in conjunction with other Strategic Partners, PCT will convert waste and scrap
plastic (from its own processing and from other sources) into high-value energy
products, including synthetic oil. For more information, visit:
