Trading of China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited In Hong Kong, Shanghai
and New York Is Suspended

HONG KONG, June 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- China Eastern Airlines
Corporation Limited (the "Company"; NYSE "CEA"; SEHK " 0670"; SSE "600115"),
announces that, following a request made by the Company to the Stock Exchange
of Hong Kong Limited, trading in its H shares has been suspended with effect
from 9:30 a.m. on June 8, 2009, in connection with the material restructuring
relating to the Company and proposals for further lowering the gearing ratio
of the Company as disclosed in an overseas regulatory announcement issued by
the Company on June 8, 2009. 

Trading in the Company's A Shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange has been
suspended since June 8, 2009.

Trading in the Company's ADSs on the New York Stock Exchange has also been
suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m.New York time on June 8, 2009.
