Compuware Launches New Partner Program, Strengthens Position as Global Leader in
End-to-End Application Performance
DETROIT, June 10, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq:CPWR)
today continued to strengthen its position as the global leader in end-to-end
application performance by announcing enhancements to the worldwide Compuware
partner program. Included in this announcement are new programs, solution
service offerings and go-to-market resources that enable partners to effectively
address the significant application performance and IT management challenges
confronting organizations worldwide.
"Partners are a key component of the Compuware Business Service Delivery
strategy and our focus on providing comprehensive application performance
solutions for our customers," said Kimberly King, Vice President of Channels and
Alliances, Compuware Corporation. "The objective of our partner program is
two-fold: to help our partners grow their businesses and to effectively address
our customers' business and IT challenges."
A number of partners are supporting Compuware Vantage 11--Compuware's
breakthrough application performance management solution--also announced today.
Vantage 11 helps drive down costs significantly by fixing problems faster and
reducing the risk of poor service quality. It is the only service management
solution to take a unified approach by combining business service management,
end user experience monitoring and application performance management. Compuware
partners will be adding value to Vantage with application specific domain
expertise and consulting services.
The Compuware partner program focuses on partners who complement Compuware's
Business Service Delivery approach. The program has tailored offerings for
solution partners, technology partners, value-added resellers and OEMs. Within
this framework, there are multiple tiers depending on the level of activity a
partner commits to. Partners can take advantage of online training, class room
training and a unique mentoring program to accelerate their expertise with
Compuware solutions.
"Business applications have evolved to become ever more interconnected,
distributed and resource intensive, which has significantly impacted application
performance," said Julie Craig, Research Director, Enterprise Management
Associates. "Solving the challenge of aligning IT services to business
objectives and using technology metrics to measure success is the realm of
Compuware Vantage 11. EMA believes that this new release of the popular
Compuware Vantage will be of strong interest to the partner channel."
The newly-added programs, services and go-to-market resources extend the
Compuware partner program's already strong ability to enable value-added
resellers, system integrators, service partners and technology partners to
deliver tailored solutions to resolve customer business problems. The partner
program includes resources and services--such as product training, special
incentives, lead sharing and co-marketing activities--that enable partners to
grow their business and meet the needs of their customers. For more information
