George M. Anderson Named 'Rising Star of Corporate Governance'

Partner in Tapestry Networks one of ten recipients globally NEW HAVEN, Conn., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Millstein Center for Corporate Governance and Performance at the Yale School of Management today honored George M. Anderson, Partner in Tapestry Networks, as a 2009 "Rising Star of Corporate Governance." Anderson is one of ten, global recipients of this prestigious award given to executives under the age of 40. The Rising Star award specifically recognizes professional impact in the field of corporate governance. Recipients were chosen by a selection committee comprised of members from the Millstein Center, the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG), the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), and Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Anderson has more than a decade of experience consulting to senior executives and corporate directors on strategic issues affecting major corporations. He currently works with groups of corporate directors from some of the largest companies in the US, directors who serve as audit committee chairs, compensation committee chairs, and lead independent directors. In 2007, Anderson was named office managing partner of Tapestry Network's primary office, located outside Boston, MA. He is regularly invited to speak on business and corporate governance topics.
