School nears full capacity for 2009-2010 School Year

TAMPA, Fla., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Newpoint Tampa High School announced
today it is holding a "Parent Night"" for the 2009-2010 school year. The
informational meeting will be held on Thursday, June 18 at 6:00 p.m. at
Embassy Suites, 10220 Palm River Road, Tampa, FL 33610. The school is nearing
full capacity so parents interested in enrolling their children are encouraged
to attend.

According to Bruce Holaday, the school's director, "Newpoint Tampa is a
college prep high school offering an innovative proven educational model.
Newpoint provides a unique environment designed specifically for today's
students and the 'technology infused' world in which we all live. Newpoint
prepares students to successfully compete in our increasingly competitive
post-secondary environment and the global job market."

Holaday adds, "At Newpoint, students receive a private school education at a
public school price - tuition free." In addition to the college prep
academics, Newpoint established a partnership with the non-profit organization
"Unleash the Promise(R)" to offer students hands-on professional work
experience through their unique Internship Program. Newpoint students have the
opportunity to work at professional firms and local businesses applying what
they learn each day at school.

Newpoint is the area's only charter high school with a college-prep
curriculum. Newpoint's curriculum ranges from remedial courses through
Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment. Says Holaday, "Nearly all of
Newpoint's staff has advanced degrees and our students have the opportunity to
take a greater variety of advanced courses compared to other high schools.
Newpoint's small learning environment and caring teachers and staff allow
students to grow to their full potential while being respected for their
individuality."

At Newpoint Tampa's "Parent Night" the school will provide details about
curriculum, the Internship Program, Project Based Learning, transportation,
extracurricular activities and more.

Says Holaday, "We are nearing full enrollment and we expect to reach maximum
capacity very soon." Holladay recommends that interested parents and students
