Measured Progress Names Lisa Ehrlich as Chief Operating Officer

DOVER, N.H., June 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Measured Progress is pleased to announce that Lisa Ehrlich has assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Ehrlich's impressive credentials in teaching and training, instructional design and research, and management and operations have prepared her for this position, according to Measured Progress President Martin Borg. (Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20090610/DC30572 ) In her new role, Dr. Ehrlich will lead, direct, and oversee business operations for Measured Progress's multiple departments and campuses; including planning, designing, and leading continuous process improvements throughout the company. Dr. Ehrlich has served in a number of roles of increasing responsibility since she joined Measured Progress in 1994. She has overseen large-scale, statewide assessment programs in the states of Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, and most recently, Massachusetts. In addition, she has directed the company's testing services activities. Dr. Ehrlich was named Assistant Vice President, Testing Services, in 2003; Vice President, Testing Services, in 2007; and Director of the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System program (MCAS) in 2004. Prior to her tenure at Measured Progress, she worked for 13 years with Digital Equipment Corporation, where she managed training projects, products, and educational services departments, administered programs, and acted as liaison to both customers and executive committees. Dr. Ehrlich earned doctoral and master's degrees in instructional design and technology from the University of Iowa, and a bachelor's degree from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
