EVERETT, WA, Jun 10 (MARKET WIRE) --
Fluke Corporation, the global leader in portable electronic test and
measurement technology, has introduced three new industrial
multimeter-clamp combo kits designed specifically for industrial
technicians to get the job done -- and save money.

The new kits combine one of three powerful and rugged Fluke digital
multimeters -- the Fluke 289 Industrial Logging Multimeter, Fluke 87V
True RMS Industrial Digital Multimeter or Fluke 179 True RMS Multimeter --
with a Fluke clamp meter for measuring current without interrupting a live
circuit. The Fluke 289 and Fluke 87V Industrial Multimeter Service Kits
(IMSK) include the Fluke i400 Clamp Meter. The Fluke 179 IMSK includes the
Fluke 322 Clamp Meter.

Designed to maximize productivity and minimize downtime, the
high-performance Fluke 289 has advanced functionality including a logging
function with expanded memory that stores up to 10,000 readings for
unattended monitoring of signals over time. Users can save multiple
logging sessions before PC download is necessary and review logged
readings in graphical format directly on the meter display, using on-board
TrendCapture capability.

The Fluke 87V has improved measurement functions, trouble-shooting
features, resolution and accuracy to solve more problems on motor drives,
in plant automation, power distribution and electro-mechanical equipment.
The Fluke 179 sets a new benchmark for general purpose multimeters,
delivering precision, features, ease-of-use, safety and reliability.

The Fluke i400 is a single range 400 A ac current clamp compatible with
most Fluke multimeters. The Fluke 322 is designed to verify the presence
of load current, AC voltage and continuity of circuits, switches, fuses
and contacts. It is ideally suited for current measurements up to 400 A
in tight cable compartments. The Fluke 322 also offers dc voltage
measurements and has a higher resolution for loads below 40 A.

All of these tools are engineered to survive and keep performing in the
toughest industrial environments. All except the Fluke 322 are safety
rated for CAT III 1000 V or CAT IV 600 V environments. The Fluke 322 is
rated for CAT III 600 V.

Each kit provides significant savings of 12 percent to 20 percent,
compared with buying the tools individually. The Fluke 289 IMSK, list
priced at $584.95,* saves $83 (12 percent savings). The Fluke 87V IMSK,
$399.95,* saves $102 (20 percent savings). And the Fluke 179 IMSK
$295.95,* saves $74 (20 percent savings).

    *Manufacturers recommended U.S. list price.
