Solar Communications Announces Sale of Card Deck Assets to Schmidt Printing and Ceasing Operations July 1st

NAPERVILLE, IL, Jun 10 (MARKET WIRE) --
Solar Communications Inc. of Naperville, IL,
(www.solarcommunications.com) has announced today the sale of its
cooperative direct mail line of business, printed paper-poly technology
and collating assets to the Schmidt Printing Company (www.schmidt.com), a
division of The Taylor Corporation located in North Mankato, Minnesota.
All activity associated with Solar's card pack business will now be
handled out of Schmidt Printing's facilities in Byron, Minnesota.
Additionally, via an orderly liquidation, Solar will cease all remaining
print and mailing operations at its Naperville, Illinois facility as of
July 1, 2009. An excess equipment auction coordinated by the Great
American Group (www.greatamerican.com) will take place on June 30, 2009.
Established in 1961, Solar Communications grew from a small family
