WebTech Wireless and Overview Mapping's Telematics Solution Selected by Protectagroup for Innovative UK Automobile

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jun 10 (MARKET WIRE) --
WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX: WEW), a leading provider of location-based
and fleet telematics services, announces that they, along with UK OEM
partner Overview Mapping Ltd., have been selected by Protectagroup Ltd.
to provide telematics services for an innovative insurance program
targeted at young drivers. The selection was a result of a rigorous pilot
phase previously announced in October 2008, with rollout begun last
month. The agreement could potentially cover tens of thousands of
Protectagroup's policy holders and includes options to extend and develop
other telematics-based insurance products in the future. Protectagroup is
Wales' largest independent insurance broker and services customers across
the UK.

The large scale pilot announced in October proved the effectiveness and
ROI of pairing WebTech Wireless' in-vehicle Locators(TM) and Overview
Mapping's VeriLocation(TM) vehicle management software and call centre
support - customized to Protectagroup's specific requirements. The young
drivers program enables policy holders to reduce their annual premiums by
not driving between 11 pm and 5 am. Vehicles are fitted with a WebTech
Locator(TM) device which sends an automatic notification if the vehicle
is driven within the restricted hours. The program reduces
Protectagroup's insurer partner's risk and insurance claims and provides
customers with significant premium reductions and incentives based on
their actual driving behaviour.
