Top judge in Russia's volatile Ingushetia shot -report

MOSCOW, June 10 (Reuters) - A senior judge in Russia's troubled republic of Ingushetia was shot and later died on Wednesday, state-run agency Itar-Tass reported, the latest in a series of attacks in the mainly Muslim North Caucasus region.

The deputy chairwoman of the supreme court of Ingushetia, Aza Gazgireyeva died in hospital after her car came under fire in Ingushetia's largest town of Nazran early on Wednesday morning, Russian news agencies reported. (Reporting by Conor Sweeney; Editing by Michael Stott)
