FRANKFURT, June 10 (Reuters) - Germany's Rhoen-Klinikum (RHKG.DE) reaffirmed its earnings and sales goals for 2009 on Wednesday as its business of operating hospitals remains immune to the economic downturn.

The company continues to aim for sales to rise to about 2.3 billion euros ($3.25 billion) and for net income to reach 125-135 million euros this year, up from 122.6 million in 2008, Chief Executive Wolfgang Pfoehler told shareholders at Rhoen's annual general meeting. (Reporting by Ludwig Burger)
