After spending six years as CEO of ActionCOACH at its Global headquarters, Vic Ciuffetelli returns to lead the franchise in Australia. LAS VEGAS, June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- After spending six years as the CEO at ActionCOACH's Global office, Vic Ciuffetelli returns to the company as the leader of the executive team in Australia. ActionCOACH founder and current CEO Brad Sugars welcomes him back to the organization as the leader of the Australian market. "This is an exciting time for ActionCOACH to not only bring the Master License in Australia under one company but also to bring back a great CEO in Vic Ciuffetelli to lead the team," Sugars said. "I believe six years at the top in any organization is ample time to leave your mark - after which you need to rejuvenate yourself in another environment so you remain fresh as a leader," Ciuffetelli said. "As the leader of the executive team in Australia, I'm joining a team that is already strong and my aim is to make it even more robust." Based out of Brisbane, Ciuffetelli will be travelling extensively to meet with coaches, business owners and business groups in his new appointment. Before his tenure as ActionCOACH CEO, six years ago, Ciuffetelli worked in the local franchise industry for four years. He also spent 15 years as a multi-site business owner. "I consider this opportunity to be the best way of making a strong impact on the Australian business sector. I have returned with the aim of building ActionCOACH as the number one franchise in the region," he said. The franchise scene in Australia, Ciuffetelli believes, is more buoyant now than it has been for several years. "The economic downturn has unfortunately resulted in more people losing their jobs to get into business for themselves - the idea of being masters of their destiny is more attractive to them," he said. Recognizing a huge need for help in the small-to-medium sized business sector in Australia, Ciuffetelli sees many opportunities for the growth of coaching in this market. "The need for business owners to be better educated about the game of business has always been present. Most business owners are hard working and good at what they do but haven't had the time or commitment to grow their expertise in running their businesses," he said. Today, entrepreneurs are increasingly reaching out for help and business coaching is filling a crucial need - worldwide. According to a survey carried out by the ActionCOACH franchise, one in five business owners will consider using the services of a Business Coach. "It is not a sign of weakness to ask for help but a sign of strength and acknowledgement that things can be done better," Ciuffetelli said. "Business coaching adds value to the client, the business and the community." ActionCOACH is the world's number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com.
