BofA hires Australia equity strategist -source

HONG KONG, June 16 (Reuters) - Bank of America-Merrill Lynch (BAC.N) has hired Tim Rocks as Australia equity strategist, a source with knowledge of the matter said on Tuesday.

Rocks is currently Asia equity strategist at Macquarie (MQG.AX) and is based in Hong Kong, the source added. He will relocate to Sydney to take up his new position.

The source declined to be named because he was not authorised to speak publicly about the matter.
