Hutchison says Partner Comm to buy, resell iPhone in Israel

HONG KONG, June 16 (Reuters) - Hutchison Whampoa Ltd (0013.HK) on Tuesday said its indirectly held unit, Partner Communications PTNR, has entered into an agreement with Apple (AAPL.O) unit Apple Sales International to buy and resell iPhone handsets in Israel.

The deal has a term of three years, and the total amount will depend on the prices of the handsets at the time of purchase, the company said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange. The statement did not give figures.
