BearingPoint Closes Sale of Commercial Services Business to PwC

Significant Portion of Company`s North America Commercial Services Business and
Employees to Transition to PwC
DALLAS--(Business Wire)--
BearingPoint, Inc., a management and technology consulting firm, today announced
that the sale of substantially all of its North America Commercial Services
business to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) has been completed. Under the terms
of the previously announced transaction, PwC acquired a significant portion of
the Company`s Commercial Services unit for approximately $44 million. The sale
also includes PwC`s purchase of the Company`s global delivery centers in
Shanghai, China and Bangalore, India; those transactions are expected to be
finalized in the next several months.
