MELBOURNE, Australia, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Instra Corporation, an ICANN
accredited registrar and Communications Service Provider, has revived ENUM
with its commercial launch of PhNUM(R).

PhNUM(R) was developed in-house by Instra and offers a convergence of the
Internet and the Public Service Telephone Network (PSTN), to offer practical
telephony and data services to the end-user.

PhNUM(R) is powered by ENUM technology based on specifications defined by the
Internet Engineering Task Force (RFC 3761). It allows users to redirect
incoming phone calls to the ENUM domain to telephony, fax, email and much
more. The technology is device independent and is immediately accessible from
all public telephone networks upon activation.

Instra's Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Barton, noted, "We are really excited
to breathe new life into ENUM. We are already seeing extraordinary demand,
even before the official launch of this technologically advanced, new product.
We believe that PhNUM(R) has the potential to radically change the way people
communicate within the next 3 to 5 years."

"We are pleased to announce that PhNUM(R) has managed to overcome the
limitations that ENUM registries face when introducing ENUM services in their
countries. With PhNUM(R), we have moved beyond simple data redirection to
sophisticated voice and data features," Lester Kum, Technical Director of
Instra, added.

Instra will be showcasing its PhNUM(R) technology at the upcoming ICANN
meeting in Sydney. The ICANN meeting will be held at The Hilton, Sydney from
June 21 to 26, 2009.
