Xcelys for RCM enhances hospital revenue cycle operations by accurately
capturing and processing data, streamlining workflow, and processing
remittance advices. An added benefit with the software platform is that it can
co-exist with the client's back office systems. Xcelys for RCM channels
revenue cycle tasks to workers with specialized skills to rapidly address the
task either locally or at a network of Perot Systems service centers. This new
level of functionality is expected to improve revenue capture while reducing
the manpower requirement for hospital business offices by up to 40%.

"At a time when hospitals are facing dramatic financial challenges including
reduced revenues, increased charity care, and the need to fund clinical
technology; Xcelys for RCM provides an opportunity to increase revenue while
reducing administrative expenses not related to patient care. Xcelys for RCM
takes our revenue cycle solutions to a whole new level by improving workflows,
optimizing business processes and maximizing existing technology," said Chuck
Lyles, president of Perot Systems healthcare group. "With this innovative
software platform, we expect to achieve even greater efficiencies and
increased cash flow for our hospital clients."

Xcelys for RCM can handle all HIPAA standardized electronic data interchange
(EDI) transactions and other elements of the revenue cycle, including contract
management. Xcelys for RCM facilitates the capture and exchange of key data
during the revenue cycle, including claims information, remittance advice,
contractual details and other critical payment and processing data elements.
Xcelys for RCM provides a seamless workflow process, work queues and automated
routing thereby reducing the time required to process claims.
