(Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20090615/DC32710) "The death of toddler James Farrior could have been avoided and should have never have happened," says Susan Samuels, Director and CEO of (ITAC) "It Takes A Community To Raise A Child." (ITAC) is the only licensed 24-hour daycare facility in the nation where a client can tailor their schedule around their individual needs. Licensed, affordable daycare is crucial in a city that never sleeps." "Mayor Bloomberg has a responsibility to regulate the child care industry in New York City with the same ambition, drive and iron fist that he has used to regulate and control the city's educational system. Heads should certainly be rolling because the blood of little James Farrior is crying out on the steps of City Hall." Mr. Fraser says, "A City Hall demonstration will not be ruled out if city doesn't act with the utmost sense of urgency." Aaron Fraser says, "An ounce of prevention could have gone a long way in saving James Farrior's life. The city has truly dropped the ball on this one." City Council candidate Aaron Fraser is also calling on the mayor, state and local officials to assist (ITAC) with the expansion of their program. "This is truly a national model to be followed." Mrs. Samuels needs donated property from the city, or local business owners, to develop her expansion goals to provide quality, licensed, 24-hour, seven days a week child care services. A "Family Day" event will be held in the Honor of James Farrior at: Hawtree Creek Road & 128th Street, South Ozone Park, NY 11420, at 12 p.m. Friends 4 Fraser is the political action committee to elect Aaron Fraser for City Council.
