Three New Technology Cart Lines Move, Protect, Secure AV Equipment; AV Cart
Retrofit Kit SCN Award Finalist; New GREENGUARD Certifications
CHICAGO--(Business Wire)--
Bretford Manufacturing, Inc.(InfoComm Booth #5281), will reveal the secret to
taking care of expensive technology equipment in a tight economy with the
introduction of three new technology cart lines. Bretford`s new Intelligent
Laptop Computer Carts, Presenter`s Assistant for Learning Cart and NETBOOK32
Mini Laptop Cart will take center stage in the Bretford booth during InfoComm
2009, June 17-19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Bretford will also showcase its 2642NSKIT AV Cart Retrofit Kit, named a Most
Innovative Furniture Product finalist in the Systems Contractor News Product
Installation Awards competition, and highlight some of its latest carts and
accessories to become GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Certified®
by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI).

"Having the right support furniture to take care of expensive equipment is of
the utmost importance, especially in an economy where budgets aren`t allowing
for the purchase of new technology products," explained Mikel Briggs, president
of Bretford Manufacturing, Inc. "Our three new cart lines protect laptops,
projectors and other technology products, keeping them safe from damage and
theft, while providing a place for storage and a method of transportation from
room-to-room."

InfoComm attendees will get a first-hand look at production models of the
following new technology carts in the Bretford booth space:

Intelligent Laptop Computer Carts. The new line features two carts: a 20-unit
model with horizontal storage and a 30-unit model with vertical storage. The
carts incorporate a Power Management System (patent pending) or "brain," which
charges the laptops simultaneously, turns on color-coded LED lights to remind
users what the cart is doing and even turbo charges a specific bank of computers
for quick use. The cart includes auxiliary outlets for other technology products
and a lockable "Cable Clutter Closet" that arranges all the cords into special
compartments for safety and organization.

Presenter`s Assistant for Learning (PAL) Cart. This new design supports
everything needed to make a successful presentation. A side pull-out shelf
secures a data projector, the top shelf can hold a document camera, and the
standing-height pull-out shelf is ideal for use with a laptop. The cart includes
19-inch rack rails with 12-unit spacing. An optional pass-through plate makes it
easy for anyone to use the cart by plugging a laptop into the side of the cart
instead of reaching inside to find cable plugs. Additionally, the PAL cart`s
small footprint means that it fits easily between a row of desks or tables while
the side-panel handles and four swivel wheels with locking brakes make the cart
easy to transport. All equipment, including the projector, can be securely
locked in the cabinet when not in use.

NETBOOK32 Mini Computer Laptop Cart. The lightweight, low-cost, energy-efficient
netbook laptop is becoming an increasingly popular and affordable way for
schools to incorporate technology into the classroom. This cart includes two
shelves with eight compartments per shelf to hold up to 32 netbooks. Its
32-outlet UL electrical system has an automatic timer/charger unit to charge all
netbooks using one circuit. It includes a large working surface and an extra
four-outlet power source for an additional netbook and printer. This cart has
ventilation holes on all sides for maximum airflow within, yet is made from
durable steel with bolting doors and a reprogrammable padlock to deter theft.

2642NSKIT AV Cart Retrofit Kit

The 2642NSKIT AV Cart Retrofit Kits give institutions a safe, affordable and
sustainable way to lengthen the life of their current AV carts. A 15-year-old
cart can now be updated to function like an entirely new cart without
compromising structural integrity. The cart includes a large notebook shelf that
pulls out on smooth-rolling glides to make it more functional while, at the same
time, giving users greater interaction with such technology products as laptops,
document cameras and projectors. Environmentally friendly, the kit contains
approximately 30 percent post consumer recycled steel and uses the leg hardware,
rubber mat and optional electric unit from the original cart.

GREENGUARD Certification

Bretford has a total of 88 GREENGUARD certified laminate carts and accessories,
and continues to have additional products tested and certified. Among the most
recently certified models are the TC Series Flat Panel Carts, FP Series Cabinet
and Freestanding Carts, FPBBUL Carts, and many of the company`s traditional AV,
data projector and adjustable height AV carts. For a complete list of certified
