Centrify Secures Access and Privileges on SUSE Linux Enterprise Servers
Running on Massively Scalable IBM System z Servers

Identity and access management solution earns certification from both IBM and
Novell

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Centrify Corporation, the leading
provider of Microsoft Active Directory-based, identity and access management
and auditing solutions for non-Microsoft platforms, today announced the
availability of Centrify Suite 2008 for Linux on IBM System z. The first Linux
supported as a guest OS is SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for System z. With
Centrify Suite, enterprises can easily secure the hundreds to thousands of
Linux servers that a single mainframe can host by leveraging their existing
Active Directory infrastructure and user accounts. The Centrify Suite also
allows IT administrators to integrate all other Linux, UNIX and Mac systems in
an enterprise within Active Directory to provide centralized identity
management, access control, privilege management and auditing of all
non-Windows platforms.

Centrify Suite has successfully passed the IBM validation program, earning the
IBM brand "Ready for Systems with Linux" for System z servers. This means the
Centrify Suite is a qualified offering that has met compatibility and
integration specifications established by IBM. The Centrify offering is also
certified for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for System z, the most popular
guest operating system for Linux on System z.

"Novell is pleased that Centrify Suite is now certified on SUSE(R) Linux
Enterprise Server for System z," said Kevin M. Pereau, Director, ISV
Ecosystems at Novell. "In today's economy, customers are looking for freedom
of choice and lower total cost of ownership and by certifying Centrify Suite
on SUSE(R) Linux Enterprise Server for System z, Centrify is offering its
customers both."

"Linux on IBM System z servers provides one of the most cost-effective,
powerful, resilient platforms for running massive Linux workloads," says Corey
Williams, Director of Product Management for Centrify. "Combined with Centrify
Suite 2008, you can centrally control access and manage users on Linux on IBM
System z and those on your other UNIX and Linux systems to provide a secure
and compliant operating environment for your most critical business servers."
