New York's venerable Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Courses step into the 21st
century with the official grand reopening of the historic clubhouse.
NEW YORK, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- A special ribbon cutting celebration to mark
the $10 million renovation of the Bronx's Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Courses
and event venues is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. EDT on July 14, 2009.
Pelham Bay & Split Rock, which opened in 1901, are reintroducing themselves to
the New York metropolitan areas as golf destinations and venues for weddings,
bar/bat mitzvahs, business meetings, graduation celebrations or other family,
community or corporate events. New York City Events, the catering sales arm of
American Golf Corporation, can accommodate groups of many sizes to create
unforgettable experiences.

courses, including an overhaul of its grand pavilion, a space that holds up to
200 people for special events, the Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Courses have
