World Refugee Day Celebration: June 20th 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the North Regional Wake County Public Library RALEIGH, N.C., June 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A Celebration of World Refugee Day will be held at the North Regional Wake County Public Library from 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2009. The event is hosted by Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas (LFS Carolinas) and North Regional Wake County Public Library. The celebration will include art, cinema and crafts from refugees who have resettled in the Raleigh area. WHO:Raleigh Community WHAT: World Refugee Day Celebration WHERE: North Regional Wake County Public Library 7009 Harps Mill Road Raleigh, NC 27615 WHEN:Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. WHY: The United States continues to be the single largest refugee resettlement country in the world.
