ASTD Chapter of the Month Honors Awarded to the Greater Cleveland Chapter

CLEVELAND--(Business Wire)--
The Greater Cleveland Chapter of the American Society for Training & Development
(ASTD) was named the ASTD Chapter of the Month for June, 2009. The Chapter of
the Month is national recognition for local chapters which have demonstrated
strength, growth, and innovation in managing their chapter.

Paul Smith, chair of ASTD`s Chapter Recognition Committee, which awards the
Chapter of the Month honor, said, "This award is a top honor that recognizes the

The chapter was recognized for its executive forum held at Case Western
University in which top business leaders were brought together to discuss
workplace development in northeast Ohio. Speakers included several experts from
state and local agencies as well as Tony Bingham, the national CEO of ASTD.
