Award-winning Southern Gospel Quartet Travels U.S., South Africa Solo with
Live Band
STOW, Ohio, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, the Dove
Award-winning southern gospel quartet with Gold(R) and Platinum(R) videos,
kicked off last week its Dream On summer tour en route to more than 30 solo
performances in the U.S. and South Africa.
EHSS has been promoting their Dream On DVD and CD since the fall 2008 release,
when the DVD debuted at No. 1 on the Christian Music Video Chart and No. 3 on
the Billboard Music Video Chart. The CD launched at No. 1 on the Southern
Gospel Music Chart.
The Dream On concert series follows EHSS' less than two-week break from
extensive travel with the Gaither Homecoming Tour, which began in November
2008. Their Dream On summer schedule runs until September 26 and includes June
dates in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.
In early November, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will take its solo tour to
Canada and culminate the series on December 12, 2009 in Grand Rapids, Mich. In
between, the group will perform in additional Gaither Homecoming U.S. shows
and a Gaither Homecoming European Tour in October.
Ernie Haase (tenor) formed EHSS in 2003, following a 10-year career with the
Cathedral Quartet, a legendary southern gospel group. Sharing his passion for
communicating God's word with groundbreaking originality and joyful gratitude
are EHSS members Ryan Seaton (lead), Doug Anderson (baritone) and Tim Duncan
(bass). The spirited team performs more than 100 shows yearly.
Ernie Haase & Signature Sound has won Gospel Music Association Dove Awards for
Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year (2008, 2009) and Southern Gospel
Album of the Year (2008).
The Dream On tour includes a live three-piece band with Wayne Haun on the
keyboard, David Griffith on bass and Greg Ritchie on drums.
"We've been on the road with this ensemble several times and love having the
freedom to encore a song or to simply slow the tempo," says Ernie Haase. "The
live band adds another level of fun to our solo performances and allows us
more time to do our thing, go with the flow and follow our hearts to connect
with each audience."
