Vector Marketing Campus Relations Manager Takes Position as President of College/University Association July 1

DOYLESTOWN, PA, Jun 16 (MARKET WIRE) --
Helen Brown, campus relations manager for Vector Marketing Corporation's
northeast region, will be sworn in on July 1, 2009 for a three-year term
as the president of the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers
(EACE). Vector Marketing is the direct sales division for Cutco Cutlery
Corporation, the largest kitchen cutlery manufacturer in North America.
Brown, who resides in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and is a native of Honey
Brook, Pennsylvania, is a 1993 graduate of Indiana University of
Pennsylvania, where she received a BA in International Studies and began
her career selling Cutco. Upon graduation, she continued selling Cutco,
working as an assistant manager. After opening a branch office in York,
Pennsylvania, Brown spent three years as a district manager in both
Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. In October 2001, Brown was promoted to
northeast region campus relations manager, where she is responsible for
building positive recruiting relationships with colleges and universities
in the northeast region.
She has been active in the EACE since 2001 and served as the
organization's treasurer from 2005 until July 2007.
Founded in 1949 and based in Olean, NY, Cutco Cutlery sells its products
through its sales division, Vector Marketing. Vector Marketing trains and
coordinates the activities of Cutco's direct sales force, comprised
predominantly of a national network of college students who sell the
products through in-home personal demonstrations. All Vector Marketing
sales representatives participate in a training program that teaches them
a wide range of skills related to sales and entrepreneurialism. Vector
marketing trains more than 40,000 students each year.
The Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers is a regional
organization that works with college career offices and corporations to
promote ethical standards in the workforce and to be a resource for
professional training and development. There are more than 1,000 members
in EACE.
