Industry Veteran Jon Krogstad is appointed to open MMV Financial's Silicon
Valley office and further expand the Company's presence in the United States

TORONTO, June 16 /PRNewswire/ - MMV Financial Inc. (MMV) one of North
America's leading venture debt firms today announced the addition of Jon
Krogstad to its senior management team reinforcing the company's presence in
the United States. Mr. Krogstad joins MMV Financial as Senior Vice President.
Based in Palo Alto, CA Mr. Krogstad will be responsible for the business
development activities of MMV in the western United States.

brings eighteen years of experience in providing innovative financial
solutions to emerging technology companies. Prior to joining MMV Mr. Krogstad
launched the silicon valley office of Vencore Capital, a provider of debt
capital to early stage companies. Prior to joining Vencore Jon was a founding
member and manager of the Venture Banking Group at Greater Bay Bank where he
built a team of experienced professionals that grew the company to over $600
million in assets. Prior to founding the Venture Banking Group, Mr. Krogstad
served in a variety of lending positions within Cupertino National Bank and
Union Bank. Mr. Krogstad graduated as the Dean's Medalist from California
State University Fresno, earning a B.S. in Business Administration with an
emphasis in finance.
